I had a very disappointing experience at Sparkle Dog Grooming and would never recommend them, especially to doodle owners. I brought my dog here a while ago and originally wasn’t going to leave a review. However, after seeing how well her grooming appointments at other salons have gone since, I felt it was important to share. I was told my dog was “extremely anxious” and couldn’t be groomed properly, which made no sense considering she had been groomed monthly for a year with no issues. They shaved her when it was not necessary. I fully understand matting and realistic grooming limitations—this was not that situation. Even if a shave had been needed, the grooming was incomplete, and she left shaking with her tail between her legs. I was also told she would need to be medicated for future appointments. The very next week I took her to another groomer to fix the haircut, and she had zero issues. No anxiety, no resistance, no need for medication, which leads me to believe the anxiety was caused by how she was handled at Sparkle. This experience was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. I would never return or recommend this business to anyone. ** In response to the owner, this haircut was done by your staff. The reason my appointment may say cancelled is because I was not charged for the services due to how terrible my dog looked. I would be happy to confirm this information as well!

We’ve been coming to Sparkle for several months now. I have two standard poodles and Laura A. does an amazing job with both my poodiful babies. I take them weekly for baths and grooms. Well worth the subscription! We get the color done elsewhere but cuts are done at Sparkle.

Brought Sophie my Chihuahua in for a nail trim and shampoo and ear cleaning. She came out looking so good and happy, would recommend this place to anyone. Front desk staff was nice and fast turn around time. Thank you for the great experience.

I was just adopted by my sweet Poppy last Friday and it was obvious she needed a good grooming. The Sparkle staff was wonderfully friendly and courteous. And very patient while we worked through what services Poppy was going to get. A shout out to Allie who trimmed her EXACTLY as I requested. Sparkle staff really listens to their clients!! I will be return next month with Poppy for her second grooming! Here you see before and after!

I recently brought my dog in for grooming, and I’m very pleased with the service. The groomers were gentle, patient, and clearly cared about my pet’s comfort. My dog came back looking clean, soft, and happy. They trimmed the nails neatly, brushed out all the tangles, and used a shampoo that smelled amazing. The overall experience was stress-free and professional — definitely a place I’d trust for regular grooming.
