I’m on a journey to try different local coffee shops and stopped here on a Sunday morning. The place is beautiful with a nice vibe. The lady that took our order was friendly and welcoming. The lady making the drinks not so much. They had music playing loud and people talking amongst their party and she barely said our name loud enough for us to hear. We had 2 iced lattes and had to figure out which was which because she just sat them at the hand off with no direction or label on them. Overall I would go back because everything was good despite the little mess up.

Another hidden gem in NOLA. This is your neighborhood’s cafe where one can work or have small talks with someone. My friends and I took the bus there from our hotel (5-7 mins walk from the bus stop) we wanted to come for the coffee and show support , we found the cafe on IG. Personally I prefer cafe like this oppose the big chain coffee shops. I would recommend, the cafe is beautiful decorated and the service was fast and friendly.

So this has definitely been added to my must visit list when I come back to New Orleans! This black owned cafe has everything you need for an amazing experience not matter when you visit! My first visit was during their event on Wednesday evening Pause and Pour! I went solo but by the end of the event, I had made a few new friends! The vibes were so great and the DJ definitely helped with that! In my same visit I decided to check it out during the day to do some work since I’m a remote worker. It was perfect. Very chill with good music and even better coffee. As I said… no matter when you come, you’ll have a good time. Highly recommend.

I’ve had the pleasure of hosting my book club at St. Noir Café twice now, and each time has been an absolutely wonderful experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, the coffee and food are fantastic, and most importantly, the customer service is top-notch. A huge thank you to the owners—Sam, Ava, Corey, and Dylen—for not only letting us hold our events here, but for creating a space that truly feels like a beacon of hope in the community. Their kindness and commitment shine through in everything they do, and it makes St. Noir so much more than just a café—it’s a gathering place where people feel valued and inspired. After seeing the iced matcha drink on Tik Tok I decided to check this place out. I came here on a Saturday morning and they were very busy but the line moved pretty fast. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly.The banana bread and the Iced Matcha latte was delicious. The only con is parking. It was frustrating looking for parking in the area most of it is street parking.
