I just had a 350 person event and Star Catering were amazing!! The staff not only helped with last minute details but the food was Phenomenal. If you are having second thoughts about booking them, DONT!! They are the BEST around. Thank you Star Catering!!
Mauro, who owns and operates Star Catering, was awesome from our initial conversations regarding catering our wedding to a flawless execution. As my now husband and I live rather far from the Fresno area it was often tough to coordinate with our vendors, but Mauro was always super accommodating. He went above and beyond with a tasting, despite a busy schedule and was great with menu recommendations. His prices are reasonable, service options were exactly what we were looking for, and most importantly, the food was amazing. All of our guests have said how much they enjoyed everything from appetizers and dinner to an ice cream dessert. He even cut up and served our cake which was a nice touch. And we were happy to learn that he packed us up the leftovers which my husband and I devoured over the next couple of days. Thank you so much Mauro and team for helping us celebrate our special day!
Mario and Star Catering provided wonderful food for our wedding! He gave us plenty of options, helped us tailor our menu to something that we knew our guests would love and gave helpful tips in other areas of wedding planning. The food was delicious and his staff was very polite and professional! Highly recommended!
Mario and Star Catering did an outstanding job catering for our wedding reception. Working on a one month notice, Mario reassured me that I have nothing to worry about and that everything will be taken care of. He delivered, as promised. Providing his professional guidance along the way. The food was amazing, especially the juicy pork. Everybody enjoyed everything. The staff was extremely helpful in organizing, service, and cleaning up. It's obvious that this is more than just a job for Mario, this is his life and passion. 10/10.
We were SO impressed with Star Catering for our wedding. We live 5 hours north from Clovis and got married on the side of the river, so they had their work cut out for them! We put together a unique menu (one of the mains was a Cuban mojo style porchetta) and they came through and created amazing food. Guests were raving about the food, asking about the sauces, everyone just loved the food. But as fantastic as the food was, we were blown away at the service. Our reception area was a sandy beach with no running water, no electricity, an hour into the hills of the Sierra Nevada. It made our planning a lot easier since Star Catering was a “one-stop shop” for our wedding. They took care of all the tables, chairs, utensils, napkins, plates, cups, staff, and setup. The staff was very professional, but also seemed relaxed. We recommend Mario and his staff so much we’re looking for reasons to have another event in the Fresno area!
