I have been enjoying the soaks at Steamboat for about six years now and LOVE them! Each room has lights the color of a chakra with a little plaque outside telling you the benefits of that color! It's very relaxing and usually quiet even if completely full. Each room has its own shower so you can wash before if arriving after a long day of work and rinse or cold rinse anytime during your soak. The water is from geothermal springs that well up from deep inside the Earth and bring healing minerals that really help to relax and heal the body. I highly recommend!!

I have never given a three star before. But I do have to honor how much I like the room rooms inside. Tonight they didn’t have any inside rooms available so I went outside for the first time. I was excited to look at the stars and that was my first disappointment. They have one of those Canopies stretched out from fence line to fence line so you can’t see the stars. A tree that’s been cut in half for the Powerlines and I can see about three stars from the Tub. Second disappointment is that they do not offer you water outside in a cooling rag like they do inside. The front desk lady also scheduled a couple tentatively the minute I was supposed to be out. So as I got out, I was constantly being flashed with the flood lights, and I was instantly hit with worry that they were trying to get footage of me and my bathing suit on their security camera for personal reasons. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at steamboat. I recommend you do not go outside. You don’t get essential oils or Accommodations that you would normally get inside for the same price. Not a relaxing experience at all To the response team: You are lying about your protocol. The woman who was in the room flashing the floods lights followed me to the lobby. then told the other guest that the tub was ready for their visit. She did not clean nor inspect the tub before inviting the other guest back. I have never had to request water inside and with out proper training from staff to offer how would I know it would be an option by request? My review Is a warning to other guests, hopefully your staff is better trained and people reading the review have learned how to better enjoy the outside tubs and ask for accommodations

We went here the other day after a Xmas gift card was delivered, by myself. We got a couples soak with eucalyptus oils and a salt scrub. This was definitely one of the best hot spring experiences we’ve ever had. Very low to no sulfur smells at all, which was fantastic. Hot water with the ability to control hot and cold along with personal showers in every room. So if you get too hot you could cool off with a cold shower. They provided water and cool towels and were extremely friendly. The only downfall is the cost. It was 65 bucks per couple before the add ons for one hour. It’s steep, but totally worth the occasional soak. Give it a shot and check it out. Great place!!

We needed a soak and since Carson Hot Springs doesn't take reservations and driving to Carson to find out they're full is a drag. Got a reservation that afternoon. The staff are always friendly and pleasant. The tub was already filling and we made ourselves comfortable. Had a great soak. Nice touch amenities with cool cups of water and face towels. The shower is nice to rinse off after. Make sure to bring a bag with your own towels and maybe a water bottle with ice. Prices are alright, $65 for an hour/couple. Located in south Reno, it's an easy drive. It would be nice if they put up a sign by the driveway, it's easy to miss.

I enjoy soaking in the outdoors spa. The tubs are warm from the mineral water, not from the heating element (you can ask them to warm it I believe). We love watching the wildlife while relaxing. Very enjoyable and always pleasant atmosphere.
