Our overall experience with Step by Step Financial (SBS) over the past ten years has been extremely positive. Kevin Jacobs and his team are exceptionally skilled in all aspects of personal financial planning. A holistic approach is taken towards assessing, designing, implementing, and monitoring client portfolios to achieve their individual goals. Investment growth, tax mitigation, and Social Security benefits timing strategies were customized in a manner that ultimately resulted in us now being able to retire. Without the help of SBS we would not have been able on our own to achieve a sustainable income stream throughout the remainder of our lives. Being a client of SBS has many benefits. As a Fee-Only type of financial advisor, SBS works transparently for their clients in a manner that avoids the conflict of interests associated with receiving commissions for promoting certain products. Professional all the way. I was very impressed with Kevin from the start. To begin with: the first time we arrived at his office, he wasn't jumping off a ledge to get our money to invest. He wanted to know about us, the things in life we like, our hobbies, our future desires, and what our backgrounds were. Kevin showed an interest in us, not just our money. We very much looked upon this aspect of his life as it showed his character, and that we could trust him.
