Nasrin Dolatabadi, the Manager at the Eastgate Square location (and Lynden Park Mall) has provided excellent, friendly, quality service that keeps bringing me back in for clothing alterations. She tailored our wedding guest outfits last year at a reasonable price. She also advised me of other services offered that I wasn’t aware of - suede & leather cleaning (including Uggs) and dry cleaning. These services will prevent expensive new purchases, saving money in challenging economic times.

So, normally I do not write reviews but I had a bad and concerning experience with Latefa at Stitch It in Eastgate Mall. I brought in 2 pairs of jeans to be patched, one pair needing 2 patches and one pair only needing 1 patch. I clearly explained this to Latefa who took my order and I paid for 3 patches. When I returned to pick them up, one pair was done fine but the pair needing 2 patches only had one done. So, I gave it back and asked them to do the patch that was not done the first time. When I returned the second time to pick up my jeans, Latefa was there and she tried to tell me that I only told her about 2 patches and that she did not charge me for a 3rd patch. I told her that I clearly remember telling her about needing 3 patches and she said she only charged me for 2 patches. I thought it was some kind of misunderstanding or something and did not remember exactly how many patches I paid for. She then said that she would not charge me for the 3rd patch but asked me to write a google review on her for being nice and not charging me for the 3rd patch. She even gave me a yellow piece of paper with the QR code for leaving a Google review and wrote her name on it. I thanked her and left. I did not think to look at my receipt when I was at the store but when I got home I did and realized that she DID charge me for 3 patches and not only 2 like she said. I find it very concerning that she outright lied and tried to manipulate the situation to make herself look good by doing a fake "good deed" and get me to write a good review about her, since she claimed to be "nice and did not charge me for the 3rd patch". So, I have written a Google review like she asked me to but not the type she was hoping for.

Mei is a genius. I took a nice dress I bought from Suzy Shier which was loose on the outside and she made the alteration immediately on it and the dress was brand new again. I recommend Stichit at Eastgate Plaza Hamilton.

Using Stitch for the first time, I was extremely pleased with all aspects of service. Best customer service I have encountered in quite some time as to time, price and quality of work, with a smile. My favorite winter coat I thought needed a 22" new zipper, however, it only needed a new slider which was done promptly and and an email was sent when work completed. I definitely recommend and certainly will use their service.
