My teenage son has had electric guitar lessons with Sean by Zoom for the past 18 months or so. He could already play reasonably well but with Sean's guidance has learnt more advanced techniques. Sean is very good at listening to what he wants to play and adapting each lesson accordingly, which keeps him interested. My son looks forward to his lessons and I would be happy to recommend STK Music to anyone who wants to improve their skill and confidence.

Sean is an excellent teacher. He’s very patient and experienced, and knows how to pitch and pace the lesson to suit ability. My son has been having lessons for over 6 months and he’s made a lot of progress in that time.

I’ve been having lessons with Sean for the last couple of years - mostly online but also in person. I’ve played guitar since I was 18 but hadn’t ever got the hang of electric guitar other than chords. Sean has (very patiently) taught me how to play lead lines, rhythm and the underlying theory without it being a chore or complicated. He can transcribe pretty much anything you want to play by ear - very impressive. I dithered for ages before signing up but haven’t regretted it. If you want guitar lessons (he’s also taught me acoustic) then I would highly recommend him!

My 9 year old son is loving his guitar lessons with Sean! He is very talented and has lots of experience working with children. He has managed to keep a very active boy engaged and practicing almost every day, teaching him all the cool songs and encouraging him to keep trying new things. It’s great watching his progress but most of all, developing a love for music, thank you Sean!
