Last night we had the best experience at STK! Originally our party of 12 had a reservation at Tavernetta. When we arrived, we realized that we had accidentally made a reservation for 10. Tavernetta was not able to accommodate our extra two people. Our group started to scramble, but I was able to look on OpenTable and saw that STK could take a party of 12 in 10 minutes. We loaded back up in our Party Bus and headed over to STK. We were immediately greeted by the manager, Derek. We told him the situation, he said he saw our reservation made moments ago and automatically jumped into gear to accommodate our group. He changed things around, requested servers to stay longer, and ultimately ended up putting our group into the private room. The table was gorgeous and was in the shape of a square allowing for every person in our party to be a part of a conversation. Our server, Mikael was incredible as well! He was at our table within minutes, taking our order for appetizers and drinks and making recommendations of the holiday menu. There was no drink that went empty, and every bite of food was incredible! At the beginning of the night with the way it started, we were worried that our special night out together was going to be ruined but STK saved the night and made it a night to remember!
I went to STK Steakhouse to celebrate our 5-month anniversary, and everything was perfect. The atmosphere was amazing — the lighting, music, and overall vibe made the night feel really special. The food was incredible, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. A special shoutout to Mitch, our server — the man was the BEST. He was attentive, friendly, and really made the whole experience even better. Definitely a memorable night. Highly recommend!
My boyfriend took me to celebrate my birthday and let me tell you the experience was wonderful. The food was delicious the atmosphere was great and our server Sam was fantastic. He made sure we were taken care off and made our dinner experience extra special we will definitely be coming back.
Review: STK – Downtown Sooo… ’twas the night before Sunday, lol. My husband and I drove downtown for a Christmas event, and of course parking was ridiculous—as expected on a Saturday night. He was starving, so we decided to try STK. I wasn’t super hungry, but I ordered the Steak Frites (well done), fries, and a Coke ($60). My husband ordered the lamb chops ($76). While waiting, they brought out bread with herb butter and a side of olive oil—nice start but the bread could have been deliciously warm. When the food arrived, I was honestly surprised at the difference in presentation between our plates. My husband’s dish looked interesting based on price . Mine… not so much. My fries were soaked. I asked for a new set of fries, which they replaced, but when I cut into my steak, it was almost rare. Like, press-on-it-and-it’s-still-running rare. 😩 They took it back, and then the manager, Derek, came out. He mentioned he’d heard I had “the best steak and fries,” lol, and apologized. But then he proceeded to say that ordering Steak Frites at a steakhouse “isn’t really something people order there,” comparing it to something you’d get at a Logan’s Roadhouse. Well… if it’s not something worth ordering, why even have it on the menu? Then he suggested ribs and told me I should have ordered a “real steak.” Interesting. Because whether I order a $100 steak or a $50 steak, it should still be cooked correctly, and a $200 dinner should look like a $200 dinner. Derek tried really hard to get me to order something else, but at that point, I was done with the debate. On the positive side, my husband loved his lamb chops—ate them down to the bone. And Derek did bring me a cheesecake, which was good. I appreciate that he tried, but overall the experience just wasn’t it for me. This will be my last visit. For the price, the food and presentation were not satisfactory. Also, a heads up: if you’re looking for a romantic dinner, this is not the place. It’s more of a club-style atmosphere, and the music is loud—like yelling-across-the-table loud. I told Derek I would share my experience, so here it is.
We spent Thanksgiving at STK Denver and opted for the regular menu over the traditional turkey. It turned out to be a fantastic choice. The food was excellent across the board: the Cucumber Stiletto was incredibly refreshing, and both the Baby Gem Caesar and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake were delicious. We shared the 10oz Filet (cooked to a perfect medium-rare) with grilled shrimp and tater tots. It was exactly the right amount of food—though it left no room for dessert! Service was the highlight of the night. Ryan was fantastic; he gave great recommendations and managed the flow of dinner perfectly. He checked in at just the right moments so we never felt rushed or left waiting. The atmosphere was lively with good music and high energy. While the turkey special looked good, we were very happy with the steakhouse experience.
