If you’re looking for a gym, I highly recommend Strength Camp SF! I moved to Daly City about three months ago and was on the hunt for a gym that felt like the right fit. I checked out several places, but many were overcrowded, making it hard to use the equipment I wanted. I started weightlifting about two years ago with a personal trainer, but I was inconsistent and eventually lost motivation. I knew I needed guidance and encouragement to stay committed, and Strength Camp SF has been exactly that. Even on days when I feel tired or don’t feel like working out, I love that I can simply show up to class and everything is already planned for me. Once the workout starts, I naturally get into the zone and push myself to give it my all. A huge shoutout to Jeremy for encouraging me to sign up. His constant support and motivation pushed me through each session, and I’ve surprised myself with how strong I’ve become and how much I’m able to lift. The coaches—Kobe, Jessiah, Lisa, and Patrick—are amazing: caring, knowledgeable, and truly invested in your progress. They walk around during workouts to make sure you’re lifting safely and help correct your form. Strength Camp SF has been a game changer for my fitness journey!!!
I’ve been going to StrengthCamp for 2 months and I'm hooked! The quality gym equipment, personalized coaching and intentional programming are all worth the price. If you’re new to powerlifting like me, StrengthCamp is a great place to get started. The community is welcoming and the coaches make lifting very accessible for ALL levels of fitness by offering plenty of modifications. Special shout out to Coach Jeremy for looking out for me with the same level of attention as my first free trial class and giving me form feedback that has increased my PR's in a short period of time.
Look no further! This is the best group Strength fitness class in the Bay Area. I joined here as an intern, eventually I was running the whole class thanks to Jeremy‘s mentorship. I learned a lot about how to help clients get started, correct their form, saw them gain confidence and lift heavy. I walked in here as a student and walked out as a confident coach who can run the class, help people and transform lives.
I’ve been going to Strength Camp SF for over a year now and it’s been LIFE CHANGING. When I started I had a muscle imbalance in my hip that was causing lower back pain. Working with the coaches and physical therapy staff there fixed it - no more back pain at all. I am in the best shape I’ve been in 20 years. Lost weight, kept it off, built muscle, look much better. Some specifics: - the coaches are amazing. All absolute top tier - classes are excellent and the schedule is really well designed. Workouts focus on rotating muscle groups to avoid over-working. Also do-able for any experience level; I started from a beginner foundation - the community is incredibly friendly and supportive - the team regularly takes member feedback and incorporates it Overall amazing place and I highly recommend.
I joined this gym for a couple of months now after a 5-year hiatus from working out. I did CrossFit for five years and wanted to get back in shape. I researched gyms and Strength Camp SF fit my love for lifting and adding cardio to get my heart pumping. I've already lost weight while having fun. The trainers/coaches are amazing, making me feel welcomed and helping me with my form and pace. I like the programming, which is very doable and the trainers/coaches are always there to help you modify if needed. The classes are the best, because there are two coaches that are very attentive and watch to assist, making it very safe environment to not cause injuries while working out. I've had trainers/coaches help me modify, with my form, helped me stretch out muscles during workouts to prevent injuries while getting a great workout. Jeremy has been great with setting me up in their system and quick responding to all my questions. The trainers/coaches Kobe, Jeremy, Patrick, Phil, Min, and Jen that I've worked out with are wonderful and patient with me. I highly recommend this gym for all skill levels. This gym is easy to get to, lots of class times, free gym times daily, and easy for parking. This a real gem on the Top of the Hill.
