They said I needed 2k in repairs. I took it to another mechanic who said that only 1 thing was needed, and another optional for $380 bucks total. He showed me the one part he replaced and explained how it was still in good shape, but it was an easy replacement, so he did it since he was on the fence. He also explained the diagnostic process and why I didn't need what this shop claimed. It seems that this Sun Devil location is selling a lot of services that are not needed.

Completely bizarre experience. They tried to replace the entire engine motor when all I had reported was engine oil leak. Thankfully I did not accede to the request and asked them to do an engine flush and engine oil change instead. They are usually good but seems like change in personnel now that makes me not want to go there again. It boils down to ethics of doing business.

As digitally complex as cars have become, it's great to have some truly professional competition with grotesquely overpriced service at the dealership. Mike and his team, at the S Higley Rd location of Sun Devil Auto, probably saved us a couple thousand dollars on our late-model Honda Pilot. And they're incredibly service-minded and thorough. We're leaning on them for all that they can provide going forward. We bet that you wouldn't regret doing the same!

Very pleased with my visit to the Sun Devil Auto shop on Higley and Chandler Heights. I bought a 2015 Ford F-150 with 134,000 miles and was worried there were undisclosed issues with vehicle. They did a thorough check and did not find any additional work besides the oil change & tire rotation. Honesty is my #1 hope going to a repair shop and I believe this shop has it in spades. Will return to this location for future work…

This place is not your typical auto repair place from my first phone call to my first interaction at the desk and every step in between everyone very courteous very appreciative for my business and wow without an appointment I had my car fixed in a couple hours at a really fair price. I think me and my family have found a new place to bring our cars. Great job was a very nice experience working with Sun Devil auto !
