I recently moved my horse to Suncoast from another state and everyone has been helpful and has made us feel so welcome. Emma and Mike are knowledgeable and manage the farm beautifully. The other boarders have quickly become my friends and it is a cohesive, drama-free environment. I am happy with the paddocks, arenas, access to trails, tack cabins, turnout fields, wash racks. I have no complaints. Horses come first at Suncoast and it is a great place to board.
Beautiful ranch well cared for owners are incredible people family environment You always know horses are cared for Mike and Emma are incredibly hard working kind people much loved by all When we go home we know our horses are safe No need to worry about them No need to worry about them having food or water you know it is being provided on schedule feeding always same time everyday ! Corrals are clean ! Flys are at a minimum due to fly predators . When flood season comes around we all know our horses have a safe place to go which is ready before emergency arrives so not running around trying to figure out what to do .I absolutely love Suncoast is a safe family environment for all . Thank you Mile and Emma for being the kind hearted soles you are and for making sure our horses are safe .
I’ve now been at Suncoast for nearly 6 years and love it even more than I did when I first arrived. My horse is now semi-retired and I don’t have to fret about him getting enough food or having space to move around. He’s always got plenty of high-quality hay, gets his supplements reliably every day, a clean pen (and he’s disgusting, sorry cleaners!), and plenty of space to romp around with his buddies over the fence. We also have multiple green pastures available for turn out, which is a luxury in San Diego. Emma, Mike, and the Suncoast crew take such great care of the facility. They are always out fixing or improving things, watering and dragging the arenas, or maintaining the pastures. Most importantly, Suncoast puts the care and welfare of the horses before anything, ensuring they are always safe in the event of an emergency. The farm also backs up to the Tijuana River Valley trails, which offers 4,000 acres of horse trails. It’s awesome. We couldn’t be happier!
I absolutely love boarding my rescue ponies at Suncoast. The owners work hard to maintain the most amazing facility, by far the nicest in the area. My horses are safe, happy and love the accessibility to pasture. I’ve made many great friends at the ranch and everyone bends over backwards to help each other out. When you spend as much time as I do with your horses, it’s great to be at a location that is so accommodating to both humans and animals! The tack shed availability, fire pits and social gatherings make it so fun and convenient to get your work done while having fun! There is also always an emergency plan in place which gives great peace of mind when Mother Nature intervenes. I wouldn’t want my horses at any other boarding facility!
I have been boarding my horses at Suncoast for more than 6 years and would not choose any other place! I have had horses for more than 30 years and Emma and Mike put the well being of the animals and the safety of the clients as their top priorities! In the past few years I had to leave town for an extended period of time (due to family issues), I knew my horses were going to be well taken care of and loved in my absence. The community of Suncoast clients is like a family and we genuinely care about each other and the well being of our animals. There are many options for facilities (arenas, turnouts, round pens, pastures...) between the two properties that make up Suncoast as well as miles of trails that make up the Tijuana River Valley. Plus the horses have huge individual corrals that allow them to run, buck, roll and just be a horse. I do remember a couple of the people who have left poor reviews and I feel sorry that they had to vent their dissatisfaction by publicly smearing Suncoast. It's too bad that they couldn't stay as Suncoast clients, it's their loss and a major loss for their horses. If you want a place where your horses are loved, well provided for, relaxed and safe, Suncoast is the best! Thank you Mike and Emma!
