I enjoyed the breakfast burrito and coffee! Limited seating, only 4 tables so definitely get there early if you can. I wish the hours were a bit more transparent since it says 6 AM open but the kitchen does not open until 7 AM. It was fine though, I just got a coffee and waited. The food was quite yummy! I liked the local art and holiday decorations too. Located in a convenient spot in Waikiki.

Excellent option for a delicious meal. We had the Breakfast Burrito and the Loco Moco. Both were absolutely amazing. Come hungry, ask about the secret menu, and leave happy :-)

Such delicious breakfast here! I got the chickpea scramble and was super full and pleased with my meal. The portion size is huge (this could have fed me for two breakfasts) and the service was fast. There’s a couple vegan options so I felt like I had lots to choose from. Could have used a bit more salt and flavorings but that was easy to add myself.

Sunny's is a small cafe, It has four tables. But don't let that stop you from visiting. Like any place There are busy times and slow times. If you choose poorly and stop by during a busy time, please have patience, whatever you order will be well worth the wait. Remember this is a small place for local grinds. It's not a Starbucks don't expect a corporate environment. The coffee is Gooood, there's love in every sip. The food was flavorful and filling. This is the kind of local place you want to keep coming back to. Especially when it's slow, you can sit and chill and enjoy your food or drink Stop by and support a local business.

**Sunny's Local Grinds: Delicious Hawaiian Eats with a Few Misses on Drinks** ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 stars) Wow, the food at Sunny's Local Grinds is absolutely DELICIOUS! I decided to dive into some local flavors, and I was blown away. The spam was cooked to perfection – almost crispy and totally outstanding. The eggs were hands down the best I've ever had, and the omelet was just as tasty. Seriously, the breakfast here is top-notch! 🍳 That said, the drinks were a bit of a letdown. My Sunrise Tea (an Arnold Palmer) came out way too bitter, and the server had to add more sweetener to make it drinkable. My husband's drink wasn't great either. We arrived around 6:52 AM and snagged seats with no line, but by 7 AM, it was packed! Pro tip: Get there a little before 7 if you want to skip the wait. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the food – it's worth it! If you're in the mood for killer local grinds, give this spot a try.
