Taking this opportunity to thank the whole team at SWOP West End for their contribution to our community. They have generously donated clothing and shoes both formally and informally to people in the community doing it tough and in a challenging environment, have always treated vulnerable people with kindness, generosity and dignity. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our community and best of luck in your new Fortitude Valley location - West End will miss you!

Took some clothes in last week and despite not being busy, they wouldn't assess the clothes then and there. They wait until you've driven half an hour home and then tell you many hours later they don't want anything. However, they do ask if you want to donate them! Most people probably can't be bothered driving back so BAM, they have your items for free. And if you choose not to donate them, you only have until 6pm the following day to collect your items! An underhanded way of doing business in my opinion. If you don't want to buy then don't ask for it to be donated. You are running a business, donations should go to a charity like the RSPCA. Pretty shonky tactics all round.

The best place to trade clothes in the CBD. The trading system they have is so dope and it’s why I’m so loyal to this store. Prices aren’t so steep when you receive store credit or cash after you trade in clothes. You’re guaranteed to get high-quality pieces here; you’re paying for the material construction and style of each piece. Additionally, I find that SWOP has the most inclusive and expansive sizing options across all second hand stores in West End. The team are super friendly but I would love to see more decorations at the register like a fresh bouquet of flowers or a signature scent throughout the store (model a similar shopping experience to Kookai) I’ll keep trading with SWOP until I get sick of it. Such a great resource in this city 🌱

Pretty decent second hand store but it is definitely marketed for luxury goods and more expensive tastes. Don’t expect super bargain prices, but at the same time, you can expect better quality, better service and a better atmosphere. It is quite similar to a normal retail store, and the interior was actually very neat and beautifully presented, almost like a boutique of sorts. I’d definitely recommend coming here, even just to check it out! It’s a nice vibe in here and the store assistant was very friendly too.
