We are so thankful that we found Sylvan Learning—especially the Matthews location. When my daughter first started the program about a month ago, she was significantly below her grade level. Her confidence was low, and she knew very few sight words. In just one month, I can already see an incredible difference. She is beginning to read books, looking at words, sounding them out, and then confidently saying the full word. The staff is extremely professional, and I truly appreciate how they take the time to break everything down in a way that makes learning feel manageable and encouraging. They explain the process clearly and keep parents informed every step of the way. I’m so happy we found this program, and I’m grateful for the positive impact it’s already had on my daughter’s confidence and learning.

We have two kids enrolled at Sylvan, and we couldn't be happier with the progress they've made! Both of them have shown remarkable improvement in their reading abilities, and it's been wonderful to see them take the initiative to sound out words and tackle their homework assignments. The staff at this location genuinely care about our children's success, creating a nurturing environment that supports their learning needs. I’ve already seen improvement in my son’s reading progress since starting with Sylvan. I enrolled him to help him get caught up and reach the appropriate reading level, and it’s definitely making a difference. The staff is very kind, supportive, and truly dedicated to helping children succeed.

Let me just say.. if i could give Sylvan Learning Academy 10 stars i would most definitely do so !! My son has improved way beyond all expectations which has helped his confidence in and out of school. The staff are top notch to say the least.. starting with the directory Stacy and the teachers that follow. Thanks for all you do to help better improve my son and others in educating them for a brighter future !!
