🚨🚨DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION!🚨🚨My girlfriend took her car in for an oil change today. They failed to replace the oil once they removed the old oil. An OIL CHANGE, how do you mess that up? Changing oil is a two step process, how is that so difficult to get right? Step one remove the oil, step 2 replace the oil. It’s not rocket science. They did offer a full refund, but we are yet to discover if there is any lasting damage to the vehicle. We will report this incident to corporate.

I went to get an oil change from take 5 oil for the FIRST time. I went to the location that is on NORTH LAMAR Street. They are GOOD people they took VERY good care of me. They did my oil change. I saw the COMMERCIAL on television and thought it was GREAT to be able to go get my oil change and I'm able to STAY in my CAR while they do their job. I am a FEMALE and there have been times I've been DUPED by MECHANICS because I don't have a whole lot of KNOWLEDGE on cars. They did a GOOD job WALKING me through everything that they were DOING. They EDUCATED me on how to take BETTER care of my car. They were very TRANSPARENT when it came to their PRICING and their pricing I think is VERY REASONABLE! I definitely RECOMMEND you give these guys a shot. They even SHOWED me the oil after they did the oil change so that I can SEE that it was nice CLEAN pure oil. On the WEBSITE they do offer DISCOUNTS. I got a 25% discount from a coupon on their website. AGAIN I recommend that you give these guys a shot. ESPECIALLY check out the one LOCATED on NORTH LAMAR in North Austin Texas. I went to this location today to have my oil changed. A few hours after my service, I tried to drive my car again, and my engine light and oil level light turned on. My engine also began to make an alarming sound. I immediately took my car back in and was informed that they put NO OIL IN MY CAR. While they said they would void the charge for the service, I am in complete shock they did not complete this basic service, which put myself and others on the road at EXTREME RISK. This is completely unacceptable service, and I am not confident that they resolved the issue upon my return (my engine light is still on). I will now be paying even more for a qualified professional to assess my car, and what possible damages could have occurred from driving briefly with zero oil. FOR YOUR SAFETY AND OTHERS, DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION WITH YOUR CAR OR YOUR LIFE BEHIND THE WHEEL.

I have never in my life had such amazing service getting my oil changed! Every take 5 experience has always been something I’ve dreaded! But this time I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at how thorough they were! Absolutely the best service ever!!! Ephraim and Terry helped with an oil change, filter replacement, and a radiator flush. All in about 25 minutes tops! Super nice guys and you can tell they take pride in what they do!! GIVE THOSE GUYS A RAISE!!

Super helpful and efficient! They even read my engine light codes for me for no charge. I'll definitely be back for my next oil change.
