Super tasty asada torta with fries. Spicy hot salsa. Highly recommended!
This is a reliably delicious food truck. The pastor tacos and burrito are excellent. Their ribeye tacos and flautas are amazing too! I haven’t tried anything here I don’t really enjoy. Bring cash unless you want to pay a $3 credit card fee.
The carne asada fries are better than Senzu beans on God. Beerus and Whis would very delighted to keep the earth alive because of this delicious food 😋
— Gotta love a taco truck that combines its southwestern spanish Mexifood menu with Japanese anime/manga _Dragon Ball Z_ -themed selections. I tried the 'Genki Torta' w/ steak. A "torta" is a sandwich on a fresh, toasted white-bread roll: $12 on this day. It's supposed to have cheese, mayo, avocado, onions, lettuce, tomato, cilantro & choice of steak or pork. Little reservoirs of red and green sauce came on the side, both super spicy. I thought at first they'd forgotten the cheese – but like the avocado & mayo, it was just hard to find (still have doubts it even had mayo). They sure don't stint on the meat, though – which was piled high in bean-size nuggets that were too well-done for my taste, and not especially flavorful. Overall: meh. Full disclosure: I'm no fan of beef OR pork. Unfortunately, this truck offers ZERO chicken or fish options. ps: They charge $20 for 'Dragon Soup' with 4oz of ribeye in it; supposedly a ramen dish but they're pretty specific that it's brand Maruchan: The stuff that comes in bulk plastic packets and bowls at Walmart... arguably made from ingredients approximating plastic. Kitchen-made ramen could be great; but feeding people actual Maruchan should be a crime against humanity. Charging $20 for a bowl of it should be punishable by public shaming and enforced noodle-making school....
Had their tripa tacos and got an extra taco for Taco Tuesday. The tripa tacos are so delicious and the salsas are to die for. They serve them up with grilled onions, definitely my favorite place for tripa tacos.
