I cannot say enough good words about Mr. Ferguson and his studio. My son is on the spectrum and Mr. Ferguson is extremely patient, kind and accommodating. Even tho he has a ways to go, he has come pretty far in a little amount if time! All of the other students and their parents are so kind as well. Highly recommended!!

Small class sizes, encouraging environment and great group of humans! My teenage son who is not athletic is becoming incredibly limber, coordinated and hugely confident taking Tang Soo Do at Tao Martial Arts. I am hugely impressed with both the rigor, yet also the individual motivation - the instructor and black belts motivate the students to find their own inner reasons for excellence - and all of the kids from littles to grown support each other. I have always heard that when choosing a martial arts school, choose the right instructor vs the art form itself and I believe Benjamin Ferguson is the right instructor. Anyone who can motivate kids of all abilities and ages to strive for their best without resorting to coercion or external rewards is the right person in my experience. Tao Martial Arts is outstanding!

I was welcomed with open arms by the other adults in the class and by Mr. Ferguson. It's a little scary starting something at 41, but this is a great place to try it!. The classes are small and there is a great community of adults motivated to improve. Mr. Ferguson is always professional and funny when it comes to instruction. I especially love that Tang Soo Do is unique from other forms of martial arts and really focuses on body mechanics.
