I am regular follower of this art gallery online, but managed to visit earlier this year during the gallery's Winter exhibition, which was a group show or various work in various mediums. I was instantly struck by a large ceramic piece by Natalia Dias as I came up the stairs which looked stunning next to the large Georgian window. The gallery is said to champion the best in contemporary Welsh art and the work is certainly that and unlike other galleries in Cardiff and indeed across Wales. I was also struck that even for a commercial gallery the atmosphere both friendly and inviting, which was refreshing. I recommend anyone with an interest in Welsh art or art in general to pay them a visit.
