I got up to the first tee at 12:23 for my 12:30 tee time and the marshal pushed us back to 12:30. We were up on the tee box for 10+ minutes waiting for the group ahead of us (that we were supposed to be in) to get to the green so we could hit. After we teed off, we got back to the cart and went to look for my ball in the adjacent hole's fairway. Right as we took off in the cart, my bag flew off and all of my clubs fell out. I'm pretty sure the marshal unstrapped my bag when we were on the tee box after he pushed us back to the next group. I had seven mike's hard lemonades and called my dad to pick me up. Five stars
Tenison has two courses, Glen and Highlands. Both are fun to play. Glen is very cheap, $35. Offers enough challenges if you can’t hit the ball straight. A lot of water and picturesque. Sands are not a big problem. Love playing both courses. Since they are cheap, you will see a lot of beginners playing, so be patient if the play slows down somewhat and enjoy
Nice cheap course. We played the front 9 of the Glen and the greens were definitely patchy, but it was a fairly forgiving course. Looking forward to playing the Highlands next time.
The Glen course was in terrible condition yesterday with clumps of grass all throughout the fairways. This was our first time playing the course and was dissapointing. There were homeless men hanging out at the only water fountain on the course and had some city workers tell me that it is common and normal. 3/4 through the round had the pleasure of seeing an older gentleman just taking a leak in the middle of the fairway. If ya gotta go, ya gotta go….. but find a tree.
Friendly staff, great greens and layout, it’s beautiful here. We have only been here once as it’s been on our list of courses we haven’t yet tried, but will definitely be back to play again!
