⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Life-Changing Training! I've been training with Texas Defense Academy since 2022, and I can confidently say it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Coach Edwin is an incredible instructor—his deep knowledge, patience, and hands-on approach make every session engaging and empowering. I've learned so much more than I ever expected, not just about self-defense but also about awareness, strategy, and staying calm under pressure. If you want to learn anything and everything about self defense, TDA is where you want to train. I learn each time, with real life scenarios, how to handle those bad people who may stumble in to your life. From hand to hand, and weapon use, TDA is where you will learn and perfect your skills. As a seasoned woman and petite, I needed self confidence and Guru Edwin taught me how to bring out the beast in me. I’ve been training here for two years and you think I’d know it all, but life and society keep offering up situations that I need to prepare for. Training here is an investment in your personal security and self awareness and it’s for men and women, and kids are never too young to get a start on discipline and control. I can’t speak high enough of Guru Edwin and his staff, and the connections I have made with the people who train here.

My daughter who is 14 and tiny joined the adult defense class and has really enjoyed it! She is pretty shy with new people and It has really helped to boost her confidence and Edwin is really great with her! I would definitely recommend!
