First-time homeowner here, and unfortunately this was not the experience I was hoping for. I paid $7,000 for what I would describe as good but not great service. Kyle overpromised and underdelivered. We agreed on a completion date of 3/27, and I was assured the job would be finished by then. Instead, it wasn’t completed until 4/1, which delayed my move-in to an otherwise empty home. That was extremely frustrating. There was also a miscommunication regarding my garage floors not being painted. While not a major issue, it points to a bigger concern: lack of attention to detail. During the initial consultation, it didn’t seem like proper notes were taken, which not only caused confusion but also led to him missing a $600 scraping service that was part of the original consultation. More importantly, the prep work before painting seemed insufficient. After completion, I found paint on the floors, along with drips on baseboards and walls (photos will be included). That level of carelessness is disappointing, especially at this price point. Overall, this felt like a simple case of overpromising and underdelivering. In hindsight, I should have been present more often to monitor the work—that’s on me. Lesson learned.

Began a little slow, arriving late first day. Worried me about a low first impression. But once they got going they exceeded my expectations. Surface demo, hole patching (million small & several over 2" square) plaster fix, texture application & then the painting was all completed magnificently! Couple small spots where painting didn't stick properly were addressed and now if they would only help move my tons of stuff back in from the patio...

Kyle wasted my time meeting with me. He sounded enthusiastic about doing the project but then never followed up with an estimate and did not return my phone call. I don’t think this painter can do non textured walls.

Kyle and the T1P crew was fantastic from initial estimate to the final walkthrough for the exterior paint project on my house. The professional recommendations for paints was excellent without the pressure of feeling like I was being upsold. The painting crews immediately got to work with any repairs, prep and caulking and before doing an amazing job with the house painting. The crew was awesome and very friendly. I will definitely be using T1P as my go-to painters from here on. If you’re gathering estimates/quotes from several painting companies and are looking for a sign for which to decide, this is your sign to go with T1P. You will be thrilled with the job they do!
