I had the most wonderful time at the watercolour workshop on the 22nd of November with 3 friends. It was a truly great day filled with superb tuition — thanks to Izzy, our talented artist and host. With her patient guidance, I achieved surprisingly lovely results that I honestly didn’t know I was capable of! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the homemade snacks and lunch were absolutely delicious. It all added up to a beautifully enjoyable and inspiring experience. Highly recommended. Myself and three friends attended a one day watercolour workshop. It was a splendid day. Lizzi is a superb teacher and also so enthusiastic and passionate about her work and the work of her students. In just a few hours Lizzi had built our watercolour knowledge up to completing a taster landscape painting. I definitely feel more confident to experiment further with watercolour and also have added a few resources to my Christmas list! Her advice and knowledge was superb. Lizzi is also an excellent host. Lunch was homemade and a delight along with home made deserts and biscuits too. I would highly recommend this day - it wasn’t long enough.i will definitely be returning in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed Lizzie’s six-week Botanical Art Course and immediately signed myself up for the next one! Lizzie is a wonderfully supportive teacher with a wealth of knowledge and is always buzzing with ideas. She has a great selection of art supplies, which allows you to experiment with different mediums to find what works best for you; she has helped me to develop my own style of drawing, and I always leave her classes feeling inspired. The Art Room studio offers a lovely, calm environment to draw and paint and there is always a delicious selection of treats and coffee to help fuel your creativity.

I attended a Sketchbook Course recently. As a novice, I was a little apprehensive and unsure about all of it, if I'm honest. That soon disappeared, though, as I was made most welcome and joined a small team of enthusiasts, equally up for a good day! The content was varied and interesting but Lizzie has a natural gift of encouragement, not least a portfolio of skills as an artist, to standard, that she shares with everyone. The course, content, company, teaching AND FOOD!....5* 10/10 Thank you for a great day, Lizzie.

I attended a one-day watercolour workshop, with a friend, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day! Lizzie was great, offering clear guidance and personalised tips that catered for both of us, delivering the bespoke session just as we wanted. Fabulous 2 course homemade lunch included along with all the materials. I left feeling more confident about experimenting with watercolours. Will definitely book further sessions.
