I cannot say enough good things about The Barkley!!! They worked with my dog to make her comfortable and happy, she loved day care. They were very reassuring to me that she would be well taken care of and would help her with her anxiety. They allow daily updates via text and have video access of daycare so I could check on her daily. They were so accommodating when our trip got extended due to all planes being grounded. Thank you so much!!! This is the place for me and my dog!!!

From start to finish, my experience at this facility was very disappointing. The staff members that I encountered and interacted with were extremely unenthusiastic and didn’t do much in terms of making me feel comfortable leaving my pet there (especially at drop off as a first time customer). I left very detailed instructions for feeding etc on the app, as instructed. It took two hours for my dog’s items to make it into his “executive suite” after drop off, he didn’t have access to a water bowl during that time and appeared to be stressed. I called twice before I was able to reach someone about it his after noticing on the WebCam that his items hadn’t been delivered. The rubber floor mats that were requested three weeks in advance when I made his reservation were not there at the time of drop off. One of my dog’s blankets never made it into his room and his bed was thrown on top of a cot, which was hard for him to get to. Thankfully, at some point around 11 PM someone move the cot onto the ground and he was able to sleep in his bed. One of our food dishes was misplaced / not sent home with us. When I went back to retrieve the item, I waited about 15 minutes for a staff member to find it and realized that my dog was never even fed his lunch on the second day as it was still in the bag (portioned out and labeled very specifically) with the food dish… This was our first and last stay, unfortunately.

Love taking my Mattie here. She loves this place. Staff is awesome and very knowledgeable and care for my dog like a family member. Owners are so great and love what they do! Place is super clean.

Absolutely do not take your dog here! There are so many better dog daycares in the surrounding areas such as serious strides and the ultimutt inn! My dog had her evaluation day/day camp and I’m absolutely so mad that when I checked the cameras they had her in a crate and tried to lie about. I asked how often they went in a crate and the girl at the front desk said they never put small dogs in a crate. When I said really? I can see her in one right now. She changed her answer. I will never take my dog back here. This experience was not worth driving a shorter distance.

The Barkley is hands-down the best doggy daycare and boarding facility we’ve ever used. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the staff genuinely cares about the dogs in their care. They’re professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Our dog gets excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot...and that says everything. The facility is spotless and thoughtfully designed with both fun and safety in mind. We’ve used The Barkley for both daycare and overnight stays, and each time we’ve been completely at ease knowing our dog is in great hands. They clearly treat each dog like one of their own. My own suggestion would be to have cameras - like most other doggy daycares - which would provide for peace of mind for pet parents. Highly recommend The Barkley to anyone looking for a safe, happy, and reliable place for their fur baby. It's peace of mind, and our dog loves it!
