My PCP is at Baton Rouge Clinic so I figured this was the urgent care to go to - plus my employer based health insurance is in network. Walked in around 12:40PM, 1/12/26. The lady at the front desk just stared at me as I walked in, with a frown. This, along with the Urgent Care -> sign made me assume the Psychiatric and Urgent Care check in were in two different areas. Nope. The lady silently watched me walk in, take a left and have to turn around once realizing there was only one check in spot. She finally said something after I then approached and asked “Urgent Care?” You already know I was meant with the most attitude stricken “Yes?!” Ridiculous. I made sure to type this while waiting for test results so I would not forget. Hopefully the rest of the visit goes smoothly, will update if not.

Visited Baton Rouge Clinic Urgent Care for a sinus infection. Nurse Practitioner Alice Williams offered a steroid shot and cough suppressant only — no treatment for the actual infection. Completely unhelpful and a waste of time.

Im from out of town , googled urgent care near me, went here, had a quick and great experience from the front desk staff, to the nurses, to the nurse practitioner. All around great experience!!

From the moment I walked in I received friendly and professional care. Every staff member was top notch. I felt heard and seen during my entire visit. I hope I don’t have to visit ever again but this was a quick and efficient visit.

Two of the receptionists are deeply homophobic. How do I know? I had to listen to their disgusting conversation about one of their co-workers while I was filling out the new patient paperwork. Their words were so vile and rude that I left before I could even complete the paperwork. I went there for care, not bigotry and judgement. I feel so sorry for their co-worker; they started talking about him as soon as he left the room.
