A extremely well kept and friendly gym. Everyone from the staff to the patrons have always been a delight to be around. The employees are all very knowledgeable and kind and do great work. If your new to climbing they will be sure to show you the ropes (haha) and make sure you understand how to keep yourself and others safe. They do sell some gear there and snacks, have a gym and yoga studio upstairs, a free climb bouldering area, a set of auto belays. I love this gym and wish I had more time to come more often 10/10 can't recommend this place enough

After having gone to Rocks & Ropes for a bit, I went all in and checked out The BLOC. And I was not disappointed. In fact, that's the main reason I come here now instead of Rocks & Ropes (even though The BLOC is double as far from where I live!) is that they have so many auto-belays which is what I was looking for. I love the fitness area where I've started working with the machines, I love the chillout area when my hands/arms are exhausted and need a break and I can just read sth. on my Kindle. AND...they also have membership-only hours which is awesome because I always come super early and everything is just empty and just perfect to be climbed and conquered. I can def say, after going there 2x/week (for 2 weeks) with climb sessions for ~1.5hrs (with breaks in between) + weight training, I can see massive progress in leaner/toned arms.
