Can't really comment on the service nor the food... we left like in the first 10 minutes of our visit. Don't get me wrong, this place has its audience but it wasn't for me or my party. Not speaking for the others in my party, this is a "me" thing... (but it was a mutual agreement for us to leave and go somewhere else). But upon me ordering i found out that there isn't any substitutions and/or and upgrades/charges.. ie; I was interested in the catfish and the shrimp.. and I asked did they had a platter with both or is there some kind of way I could have half of each as a meal (or something along those lines) I was told no, each meal was separate. Which didn't bother me at that point. So I had to make a decision on either or, fine.. so I chose the catfish basket. Then I asked instead of the French fires could I get sweet potato fries or onion rings (which are all sides on the menu) once again I was told no and that I had to purchase each side separately. So after I did the math in my head, I was going to have unnecessary amounts of food just to create my desired platter. And it was issues with the others in my party aswell. So we all decided if we was going to spend $50+ a person at a 2~3 star restaurant.. may as well go somewhere extremely nice. BTW, this was a birthday outing. So we packed up and went to Pappadeaux around the corner and got all of the accommodations, service, and the atmosphere we was looking for with the appropriate pricing. Not saying the service was bad here, we just never had the chance to experience it. Plus the drinks menu is extremely limited! Besides the typical coner store beers, I think they offer like 3 types of mixed drinks. And i can almost bet, they're not strong/worth their weight in gold (just a guess from me visiting almost every restaurant in the DFW area and that I must have a stiff one lol) as a person that has being doing reviews for around 4 years now. Just know i hardly leave any negative reviews. Im not the type to find dirt in a snow storm. So "no" im not picking on this establishment. But something has to be done to keep ready to pay customers from walking out and going elsewhere. You guys have the power to do that. This is an easy fix...

This place was good. Nate got the boil and there was a lot of food. Me and Amy got the fish and there was plenty of food for both of us and lunch tomorrow. The place has a cool vibes. We will be back.

Love the food from here, a little overpriced sometimes (depending on the season) but great atmosphere, great food and ok prices. We’ve only been to a few seafood spots in Texas but this one is pretty good, definitely recommend to others since we always find ourselves comparing other seafood places to this one and this one always wins. Good for celebrations. We ordered Mussels, headless shrimp & extra corn/potatoes.
