I visited the Bridal suite for a trial for both make up and hair, and unfortunately the final look I walked away with didn’t go as visioned. I have used the Bridal Suite before as a wedding guest for a Hollywood waves hairstyle and LOVED the hairstylist and her work that I felt I didn’t need to look anywhere else whenever it came time for me to do a future bridal trial. For this recent time, I still loved the hairstylist as she asked great analytical questions and asked for the reference photo I had to be sent to her so she can try to recreate it as close as possible. I truly appreciated that, and she was super lovely. Where the appointment for me fell short was the make up artist. I’ve never had my make up professionally done and I was super excited to see how the make up from the inspiration photo would come together by a professional. I wear make up everyday myself and was hoping for something more elevated than my daily routine. When the appointment was finished, I still was processing how I looked in the mirror. When I went home, I tried to convince myself this looked good but ultimately I didn’t it didn’t make me feel “pretty” or “bridal” as I was hoping for. In retrospect, the make up artist didn’t ask me once if I liked the look or if there was anything I wanted to change. She was super sweet and friendly but I don’t think she closely followed the inspiration photo I presented her with— and that’s probably where I felt the most disappointment came from when comparing the inspo and what I had. For the amount it costed, I didn’t feel like the make up portion was worth the $180. I did meet with my elopement photographer for a separate meeting, and turns out I might not be able to sport the lovely hairstyle I trialed with as they said it gets very windy at venue so I’ll have to look for another bridal hair appointment somewhere else. :(

Brittany from The Bridal Suite in Houston did an incredible job with my wife's makeup for our pre-wedding photo shoot in College Station and again on our wedding day in River Oaks. She listened to exactly what we wanted, created a flawless, long-lasting look that photographed beautifully in both settings, and made my wife feel absolutely stunning and confident. We were thrilled with the results and couldn't have asked for better bridal makeup service. Highly recommend The Bridal Suite Houston for any wedding or special event! 5 stars!

What a great experience from start to finish with Tru and her team. Communication was great throughout the whole process and I couldn't be happier with how my bridal party and I looked. We booked hair and makeup for 5 ladies, all with different styles and preferences, and everyone looked stunning. I was amazed at how quickly we were all done and ready. They made sure we were all happy with everything before wrapping up and didn't hesitate to make adjustments. I was worried about crying or sweating and ruining my makeup, but it was flawless the whole night. I cried before I was out of the makeup chair as soon as I saw my mom all done up. I danced all night and definitely got sweaty. My makeup didn't budge and my hair held up the entire night. It was beautiful! The Bridal Suite team was a dream to work with, super fun, professional ladies! Thank you!

We used The Bridal Suite for the bridal party hair and makeup (bride, MOH, bridesmaids, MOG, sisters-of-groom). Having been a destination bride, I was unable to meet Tru in person until my hair and makeup trial the week before the wedding. I particularly was looking for a HMU artist who knew Asian hair and skin (super straight hair and yellow undertones). She was super accommodating with my changes. Tru and her team were so fun to work with and helped lighten the air on the wedding morning. We all felt absolutely beautiful the whole day in to night!

Tru did hair and make up for our wedding and her team is the best! Tru and her team customized each styling and made everyone in my wedding party beautiful! They are efficient, friendly, and professional! I would hire bridal suite for any occasion!
