Went to the Stable for a works social, we had 40 people and although by the time the last person got served, the first had finished the pizzas were fantastic, no one had any complaints. The service was excellent and friendly, the house pale ale was very good too. Cider is their thing with a very good selection

The food is OK - as in I would happily pay 8 pound for their 16 pound pizza, the pizza itself had all the right components great cheese, good dough and great pepperoni, but undercooked lacking on basil and not enough honey (I ordered the “hot buzz” which was a “not that spicy, very slight tingle”. I can’t recommend this really, small bar round the corner offers the best fried chicken in Bristol, this offers the highest budget GCSE pizza. To summarise, anemic pizza, quick service and really pleasant staff. Pints ok tho !

Everything except the pizza was great, sadly the change to make them bigger but thinner was a bad idea!, disappointing, the pizzas here used to be one of the best around, now just a pale thin crust lacking anything it used to be. Cider is still good though

Fun and vibrant place right on the waterfront. We were there with family to grab a bite to eat and a drink. We head their vegetarian Roman style pizza. It was light and crispy and the garlic herb sauce made it amazing. We also had some of their tater tots as well as dipping sauce. They had a large selection of various alcoholic ciders as well as lots of beer to pick from. Service was quick, we ordered at the bar and they brought our food to our table.

Went to The Stable in Bristol with my team for a pizza and a pint. Overall, it was a good experience without being amazing. The pizzas went down well with everyone — I had The Meat Is On, which was decent if not outstanding. Without doubt though, the chilli oil gave it a welcome kick. Thin crust, nicely done. The craft lager I tried was very good, but at £6.50 a pint it’s definitely on the pricey side. The venue itself is pleasant, with a great location overlooking the harbour and a brilliant mural featuring some of Bristol’s best-known faces. That said, it was pretty empty for a Thursday afternoon, which didn’t do the atmosphere any favours. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and service was quick. Not somewhere that blew me away, but worth popping in for a bite to eat — though maybe just the one pint at those prices.
