We can’t thank Mallory enough for all the help she provided us with our crazy pup Disco. Everything she suggested worked wonders and we would recommend her to anyone that needs a little guidance with their dog. Training sessions were always positive and fun and Mallory really helped my husband and I get on the same page. My partner and I are new to dog ownership and were very nervous bringing on such a big commitment with adopting a puppy and didn't know where to even start! We connected with Mallory and she was able to meet with us even before our puppy arrived to ensure we had the right set-up and plan in place to handle bringing home our puppy, Pippi. After that, every time we met, Mallory actively and passionately listened to all of our experiences and stressors that would pop up each week and helped us each step of the way. With the help of Mallory's amazing dogs, we even were able to set up some supervised dog play and interactions for Pippi to learn appropriate boundaries and for us to learn more about dog body language and behaviors. Although I feel like we are set up for success by investing in some excellent training early own, we look forward to seeing Mallory again in the future for some check-ins and ensuring things continue to go smoothly as possible!
Mallory is amazing!!! We have a 3 year old Havapoo who barked at everything and seemed to be showing early signs of aggression towards other dogs. We tried a few things ourselves and after all that failed we looked into training. I was honestly pretty skeptical but I can’t say enough good things about Mallory’s training. Every time I came to a lesson frustrated about something she was able to help me understand my dogs behaviour and offer lots of support on how to fix it. We started with a 5 week training package and made significant progress. A few weeks later I went back for 3 more sessions and it was exactly what I needed to reinforce my confidence and address a few concerns that had popped up. Our dogs behaviour has changed significantly and I feel much more confident. We’re going to enjoy our dog so much more now that we have a better understanding of how dogs learn. I joked with Mallory that she was actually training me more than my dog. If you’re thinking of training at all go with Mallory. You won’t be disappointed!
My mini Aussie and I loved learning from Mallory in a fun and force free environment. Mallory offers the right mix of science based information with practical training/feedback/suggestions to ensure both the dogs and their humans are successful.I also really appreciate her detailed follow up notes so I don’t forget anything we’ve trained on. We’ve completed two packages with Mallory and my pup and I look forward to more in the future. You and your dog will love her!
We recently adopted a puppy and are not very experienced training dogs. We were referred to the Canine Scholar and couldn't be happier. Mallory has an excellent way of training so that our family and our dog can continue between sessions with all the information and instruction we could ask for. We are comfortable, our son is comfortable, and our dog loves it! We believe in Mallory's science based training and are seeing results each week.
