Rude staff that snaps at you for taking pictures and then talks poorly about you over the phone. Walked in and did not see the small yellow no photography tags. So I go to take a picture of something to share with my friend who loves loony toons. Guy sitting at the desk puts his phone down and snaps no photography. Points at the sign and says it's posted all over. I put my phone away say excuse me did not see them. The guy then tells whoever he is talking to on the phone about how he's so tired of people coming in and taking pictures and not this. He gets quite when I walk back over to that side of the gallery. No way to reply. So I will edit. I have worked retail for the past 20 years. This is 101. Don't be on the phone with customers present. Don't talk badly about customers while they are in ear shot. 🙄

Great spot!! I loved every single piece in the Gallery. Brings back soo many memories. A must see place while in the village.

As tourists who happened to be in the area, we were looking forward to stopping by the Chuck Jones Gallery to cap off our day. Turns out that even though the hours online say they're open until 9pm and the business updated those hours just 8 weeks ago, the gallery was closed when we arrived at 7:37pm with no notice of their correct hours anywhere. Nothing was on their answering machine either. Please post your correct hours somewhere so tourists can properly plan when to stop by!

We love animation art galleries. Disney, Chuck Jones, Charles Schultz, Hanna Barbera. Alas a lot of these galleries have closed or are only online now. Chuck Jones gallery in Costa Mesa has closed permanently and this one in San Diego seaport village is only a temporary location. I had to stop by and look at all the art. It is interesting and brings you back to when you were a kid.

Love this place. It really sent me back to my childhood. Walking around here was like walking down memory lane. Also, I want to throw out a big thank you to Michael. He's an amazing guy and extremely helpful. When I was there, I fell in love with a picture, but at that time I decided not to buy it. But I couldn't let it go in my mind. 3 weeks later I called from Norway and managed to get the piece I wanted, and Michael was really helpful and was really quick in replies. I'm so happy being able to see this piece every day at my home now. Thank you!
