My son and his friends love this place , staff are nice and helpful when needed ,and it has great bouldering and climbing facilities the coffee serving stops at 8.00pm two hours before premise shuts and seats are put away so there is nowhere to sit. hence one star removed

The Prop Store of the TCA is a converted warehouse where the theatre stored their props. Today, nothing reminds you of that past. Today, there are plenty of climbers of all ages ascending the boulders and walls. Wall climbing is near the end of the cavernous hall where experts (only) can use ropes. The climbing hold patterns are regularly varied to make the climbs more interesting. There is a wee shop for climbing essentials and some snacks and drinks and food. Parking is super easy due to the large parking area in the front. Finding the place at the end of the car park can be confusing if you are not familiar with the location. The place looks like an industial facility with its empty gate house. The Prop Store is on your left almost at the very end of several converted warehouses. Climbers seem to be friendly folk.

Superb and friendly service just like the newsroom. Great relaxed atmosphere. Loads of varied climbing. Soup was brilliant...again as was the coffee. Well worth the visit...only thing I'd mark down is it's that we don't live near enough 🤣

Super range of problems and for a lone climber like me, a nice social atmosphere. As well as reviving hot drinks and tasty snacks, there is advice and guidance from the TCA team if you need it. Also. A super gym and practice wall upstairs.

Favourite climbing gym in Glasgow. Centre is clean and modern with secluded training room (spray wall, circuit wall, dynamic wall, campus boards, hang boards) and gym (rowing machine, spin bikes, cable machine, bench, weights, bars etc.). Routes are reset on a good schedule and there's roped climbing as well as bouldering. You can also get food and coffee etc. from the cafe. Monthly membership is a good price too because access to The Newsroom (another gym in southside) is included.
