Lucky enough to receive a gift voucher for the Craft Pottery, I managed to do 2 classes, one at the pottery wheel and one for a hand-building pottery experience, both of which I really enjoyed. The tutors were both generous with time and patient with those of us new to learning about working with clay and I really feel I learned a lot. The 2 hours went in really fast and yet we all managed to create a finished product (left with the studio for kiln/glazing process and later collected). I never imagined i would achieve anything so 'finished' looking and would definitely recommend these classes. Many thanks

Had a wonderful time at the studio - we did the beginners wheel throwing class with Brandon as our tutor. He was amazing and incredibly patient - had the best time ever, thinking we’ll definitely be back!

It seemed difficult to find glaze mixing courses in Scotland that I could attend weekly and not need accommodation. Then I found out about the craft pottery studio. I signed up for the five week course in Glasgow, every Tuesday evening. My course was taught by Brandon Pena, who was very knowledgeable and easy-going. There are other courses worth checking out also. I'd recommend this course to anyone who wants to increase their glaze mixing knowledge. Many thanks to Brandon for his time and patience.

I couldn’t fault our session leader, the materials, the venue or the experience - all absolutely fab. The one thing I’d say is that most of the group ran out of time before making their final ceramic. If there was a way to section the 2 hours so that everyone knew how long they had for each piece, that would’ve been helpful. Also, noting the above, I felt £60.00 was slightly steep for the session. £40-£50 would suit the experience more.

From walking through the door we were made to feel welcome by Murphy, our tutor, and this continued throughout the session. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Found the demonstrations and explanations interesting, informative, and easy to understand. Murphy was also very helpful on a 1:1 basis and made sure we were all doing ok. It was great to see what we had produced too. The setting in the old warehouse felt convivial to the activity and in an easy to reach location from the city centre. Would highly recommend and will also probably come back again.
