2 May 2026 Well I figured it’s time for an update of The Dog Stop in Huntsville Alabama. Been some changes in staff and management. Has it been an easy road done nice people that work here no at the same time they are rolling with the ups and downs to provide some of the best services and a competitive price. I have been coming here since Dec 2021 and I haven’t had an issue or complaint other than do not even a hand full of times and those were minor and the staff addressed them on the stop. I continue to highly recommend them for their list of services they can provide to both day care and boarding clients. It would be nice if the corporate office could provide them with the support that they need as a franchise company. **I am not changing my review only adding to it.** As of 16 APR 2024 The Dog Stop is soon to be under new management and the super staff. They do have a trainer on site now. I wish them the best going forward and will continue to have my mind at ease every time I drop my to fur babies off here they will be safe and secure with this great staff. I have been coming to this location for over two years now and I do highly recommend them. They can get busy at pick up and drop off times yet they do make each and every customer count. Older post I’ve been coming here to the Huntsville location for almost two months and I really like the people since they are very professional and caring for the dogs. And I mean that as not just for mine but also for how they interact with their customers. I live that they are open on Saturday and Sunday too. Helps me get some yard work done AND my dogs can have fun too so it’s a plus for their quality of life. When I pick my gang up they are both happy and pooped out from their day. This is a great staff in my personal opinion and I have had nothing but positive interactions with the staff so far.

I took my dog here while I was visiting Tennessee and he loved it! The prices were great and the staff were lovely. They have a cool feature where you can check the play yards to check-in with your pup! 100/10 would recommend and I plan on bringing my dog back soon :D

Brent Huser with Pet Stop Huntsville is fantastic to work with. He always gets back to you when you call and is incredibly quick to help. Anytime we’ve had an issue, he’s resolved it promptly and professionally. Brent truly goes above and beyond every time. The product itself is great, and the customer service is even better. Highly recommend!

LaDawn Edwards, the owner of The Dog Stop, in Huntsville, AL. recommended a cool toy for Dottie, my Australian Shepherd puppy. I needed something to entertain her especially to keep her busy so I can enjoy my morning coffee undisturbed. It works. Dottie liked it right away & it’s near 3 weeks use & she still enjoys it! We love it!

I just picked my dog up and noticed he has a cut under his eye. Update: My dog has a scar and the staff couldn’t offer an explanation as to what happened other than he “might” have caught it on something in the kennel. I guess their facility having something exposed sharp enough to scratch his face, didn’t warrant any kind of reimbursement. Just some lack-luster apologize. I paid $300+ to have my dog come back with a permanent mark on his face. If you choose to board your dog, I recommend you choose a boarder that doesn’t have sharp things sticking out for your dog to nick themselves on. Also they’re going to charge you the full price even if you picked up your dogs a day early.
