Staying at the Dutra Inn was the most fantastic time. Up there as one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at ever! It was incredibly clean and so beautiful, perfectly located across from the best bar in the city - but still was quiet at night for good sleep! Stephanie and Nathan are amazing and communicative hosts, responded to every request and question promptly and helpfully, and made our experience perfect. Have already recommended Dutra to all my friends going to SD!!

I truly can't say enough positive things about Stephanie and Nathan's place! It was the PERFECT stay for my husband and me on our visit to San Diego! You could nearly forget you're in the heart of Little Italy because of how peaceful the space is! Yet when you're ready, just step outside of the private gate into all the activity! Stephanie and Nate were both incredibly responsive with clear directions, and Nate even happened to be staying at the building while we were there and offered local recommendations and could not have been friendlier! The space itself had everything we needed for a quick weekend- minimalistic yet cozy, and perfectly clean with thoughtful design! We will absolutely be staying here again if we come back to San Diego!

I LOVE Dutra Inn and stay here whenever I can. This is the cleanest Airbnb I've never stayed in, with such thoughtful and aesthetic touches. Little Italy can be a *little* loud, but they have a sound machine by the bed that was perrrrfect and I didn't even notice the commotion. I stayed in Room A, and I LOVE starting and ending my days people watching on the balcony. I was stoked about the walkability, I didn't need a car or to Lyft anywhere all weekend, everything I needed or would want to eat/drink was a few block walking distance at all times. I really love this property and if it's available, you won't be disappointed!

This is a great space, youthful and fun! The minimalist, handsome, and well curated pieces bring the industrial space to life. The location is in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood with a lot of nightlife. The nearby restaurants, bars, and cafes are plentiful and are definitely the main attraction of staying in this area. This is the perfect spot for an adventurous traveler or couple who plans to be out and about, using the apartment as a stylish home base. The vibe is "fashion over function," celebrating the building's raw, industrial roots with amazing original touches! While the amenities are as listed, they are minimal, so it’s best for those who pack heavy and live simply. The host was very kind and communication was excellent. Response time was very fast and her problem solving was perfection!

We were lucky to find such a cool spot in the heart of Little Italy. The Dutra is perfectly located for walking to the Embarcadero and many excellent restaurants, bars and the Farmers' Market. The rooms are huge and well appointed with very unique character. Though the room comes with a sound machine and ear plugs, we never found it excessively noisy considering its downtown location. Our room (the "U") had a great balcony with table and chairs for people-watching from the 3rd floor. We will look forward to staying there on our next trip! Highly recommended!
