If you like being completely surrounded, floor to ceiling on all sides, with great books--come here! One feels at peace in this shop, and wishes there were more places like it still around. Best bookstore in Winston. Great prices. Frank is awesome.

Absolutely beautiful bookstore stacked high with everything from modern to antique used books and art. The owner is especially kind and knowledgeable and the prices are especially reasonable. There's definitely some treasures to be found and I highly encourage a stop!

We had a 5-star visit at this used book store in Winston Salem. The store from the outside might look small, but don’t let that fool you—the bookshelves inside are never ending, with one room leading to another room and to yet another room. Don’t forget the basement where you encounter classics, and some collectible magazines from the past at unbeatable prices. Besides books, they also have some vintage items ranging from crockery to artwork. We spent around an hour here. The owner was fun to talk to, and he shared some very interesting trivia with us. Parking outside is street parking, and there’s a restroom inside. If you’re a book nerd and are in the Winston-Salem area, I highly recommend visiting.

Such a fun, eclectic little book store. The owner is very nice, and recognized us after we hadn’t been in in a few years. We had gotten engaged and married and moved away by that time and the first thing he said was “haven’t seen you guys in a while, how you doing?” and asked my wife about her job, just showing that he was paying attention during a conversation a couple years prior. Just seems like a genuine, nice dude. His prices are very fair too. We’ve bought probably 90% of our art from his store.

Of all the bookstores I’ve ever sifted through, this one was my favorite. The selection of books is seemingly endless. It carried on through multiple rooms and even into a basement. It’s a perfect place to stroll through and see what catches your attention.
