Gmo was such a warm and enthusiastic host and made the experience even more fun! We managed to do the Heist in record time without hints (although I will say this was mainly due to our brilliant team mates.) there were so many unexpected aspects to the room that I enjoyed! I definitely would recommend.
Great experience. I would definitely recommend. My partner and I did it with 2 strangers and boy oh boy it was an experience. Love it. Going back. Fae was also great help. Big shout out
We chose The Escape Game for our 100th escape room, and it was exactly the right choice. Their rooms are always high quality, and the customer service never disappoints. We played Legend of the Yeti, which was a fun and thoughtful challenge even for two experienced players. The immersive set design sold the Himalayan setting, and the puzzles struck a great balance between tactile, low-tech, and high-tech. Our Gamemaster, G’mo, was excellent and provided well-timed hints that kept the game moving. We’d heard this room was built on the framework of Gold Rush, but having played both, the similarities stopped at the layout; the puzzles and interactions were entirely different. Having played multiple The Escape Game rooms across various locations, we can confidently say they’re fantastic for both first-timers and experienced escape room fans.
If you’re scrolling deciding whether to go, stop. Book the room. New or experienced players will have an amazing time. This company is truly a gem at this price point. This location is one of very few to have Legend of the Yeti so deciding to visit family for the holidays was heavily influenced by being able to play lol. When we told our game master this was our last room with TEG they made this adorable card that had me on the verge of tears. Special thanks to Guillermo & Alex for making our game amazing!
Amazing escape rooms. We’ve been to several other escape rooms in New York, and these guys are definitely the best. Over two days, we completed 5 out of 6 rooms — we simply didn’t have enough time for the sixth one. Every room is wonderful and incredibly engaging, from the puzzles to the atmosphere and the storyline. Special thanks to the team — you all did an incredible job. And extra thanks to Gmo and Emily. You truly made our evening (and night 🤪) unforgettable.
