The Forks Market is such a great spot in Winnipeg. There are tons of eateries to choose from and lots of little shops to wander through, so it’s easy to spend a good chunk of time here whether you’re hungry or just browsing. I had the tacos at Habenero Sombrero and they were super yummy! You can mix and match too. My partner had the enchiladas, and he raved about those too. We also got ice cream at Neon Cones, even though it was like -30°. It was worth it. It’s heated with plenty of indoor seating, which makes it especially nice in colder weather. There’s also an outdoor ice rink with skate rentals available, which adds a really fun, classic Canadian touch. Lively, convenient, and something for everyone. If you’re visiting Winnipeg, The Forks is absolutely worth stopping at.

I love visiting this place, especially in winter, when the skating season opens and you can skate all over the park. And the nice thing is that you can safely move around the park safely, and on skates. And river skating along the Assiniboine River and Red River. This is a fairly long and interesting trail with Christmas trees and places to rest. And the most important thing is the atmosphere and pleasant short conversations with visitors. You will not be left without a smile and a good mood, even in severe frost

I’ve visited The Forks Market a few times for both lunch and dinner, and it’s always been a good experience. The space has a lively, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of food options and places to sit, and it’s easy to enjoy whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or taking your time. The mix of restaurants, shops, and open areas makes it a great spot to return to whenever I’m in Winnipeg. Update: Thank you so much for the kind reply. It means a lot to know this place continues to welcome us back with the same warmth and energy. The Forks has become part of our story — from winter walks to shared meals — and I’m grateful for the memories we’ve made here over the years. Looking forward to the next visit already.

The Forks market is located opposite the Johnston terminal in the Forks historic District. This is an absolutely amazing place to spend the day with family and friends as there is an eclectic mix of restaurants, shops, and other amenities. Every type of cuisine is available here from ice cream, steak, pizza, bakery, fish, and chips and tea. It is very clean and well organized, and the atmosphere is just fantastic. Paid parking is available directly outside. Wonderful place to come and explore the Riverwalk and the market. I highly recommend.
