Gale is absolutely wonderful! I wasn’t too sure what I wanted going in but Gale was able to offer a lot of advice and ideas which worked out great. I came in with brown hair with blonde and blue stripes, Gale lifted all of the color and got my hair to look like I never even dyed it blue+blonde to begin with! My hair came out so pretty and it felt so smooth and pampered. All of the staff were kind and welcoming as well. The salon was very clean and cute inside

I’ve been going to The Hair Lab for a few years now and have worked with multiple stylists. Each of them has been so skilled and patient, taking the time to understand what I’m looking for, talk through the options, and answer questions. I’ve never felt hurried or pressured, and I’ve always left feeling and looking like a million bucks! To me this says so much about the kind of salon The Hair Lab is. Not only are their stylists exceptionally talented and skilled, it’s obvious they’re given the freedom to be truly client-centered, instead of rushing things or pushing products just to make a sale. It’s an approach that takes more time and attention, so it really shows you what their philosophy is. Brian in particular has some of the most excellent “chair-side manner” I’ve ever experienced! Not only did he give me an amazing new cut and color, he made me feel genuinely valued and cared for, which is an increasingly rare skill in and of itself. 10/10 enthusiastically recommend!

I’ve been so happy with every hair cut I’ve had here with Brian! He is such a miracle worker and has helped me learn how to treat my hair well and still stay within my early morning time constraints before I have to go to work. I work in anesthesia and with special needs patients, so it’s important to me that my hair is manageable, but my natural hair can be difficult since I never learned how to do it besides straightening it everyday. Please go to Brian because he is so sweet and considerate about your day to day life and how your hair factors into that. Thank you Brian for changing my relationship with my hair and teaching me how to care for it.

Sachi is amazing. I have seen her for multiple haircuts now, and every cut is such a great experience. The consultation at the beginning of the appointment is super thorough and she really listens to exactly what you want. She gives an amazing scalp massage during the hair wash, and she’s very gentle, which is nice because I’m tender headed. She truly is a hair artist - I get so many compliments on my haircuts from her and they are truly customized to exactly what I want. The hair lab facility also makes a lot of their own products which are quality and smell really good!

Kait at The Hair Lab is the best! I have been going to her since moving to Saint Louis and I've never been happier with my hair! I don't get my hair done often, so Kait does low-maintenance color that still looks natural when it starts to grow out - seriously amazing! Kait is super knowledgeable about how to best color different hair types and which products are most effective! I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my hair, plus you couldn't ask for a kinder person to talk to or a better salon to go to! 100% recommend Kait and The Hair Lab to anyone!
