I had the best first experience at this establishment. My stylist Ceci, was the best hair stylist I have had in years. She did a perfect job with my color and cut. Ceci was professional and talented and has a beautiful personality ✨️ I highly recommend her, she is the best 👌

Vannessa is amazing, always makes you feel comfortable if you're in her chair. I had a balayage done, and she worked wonders on my hair. I asked for a red and black balayage, and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I will be going to her from now on for any and all of my hair needs.

I have been going to Ceci at The Hair Standard for almost two years. I am so thankful I found her bc my hair has never looked better and I receive compliments all the time. Ceci is very professional, knows hair, cut, color and styles. And, she’s never had to reschedule an apt., always on time and I leave earlier than expected which is nice. I enjoy each time I go bc she is so lovely and I know I’ll walk out so happy w my new hair. Ceci does my extensions, color and highlights, cut and style. She can do it all! I highly recommend!

I scheduled an appointment online via the website with Ceci for her great reviews. The day before my appointment she asked to reschedule to two different times in the middle of the day. I told her I couldn’t make those times and asked if we needed to reschedule to another time. She said she would accommodate my appointment time. In the photos are the pictures I showed and what I asked for in my hair cut. I have extremely thick hair which before this cut reached just below my bra straps down my back. Never have I had a hair cut happen in under an hour. In just under 60 minutes, Ceci washed, cut, and halfway dried my hair with the worst cut I have ever had. The sides are completely uneven, I have shelves of hair from unblended layers. And a significant amount of hair that was supposed to frame my face is just gone. I paid $120 for this service including a tip and tried to restyle it myself once I got home. I called the Hair Standard and asked for someone to help fix it, they were unable to offer an appointment until 3 days later. I was told the salon manager would call me back and potentially offer a refund which they did not. I reached out to Ceci with photos and told her I was unhappy with this cut. She offered to send my tip back, but didn’t. She also stated “I know I gave you a good cut.” Go to this salon if you want to have your hair shattered, be treated like a child, and be gaslit by the stylist afterward. UPDATE: the salon manager did reach out with an offer to have someone attempt to fix my cut. The salon also refunded the cost of my haircut despite Ceci being an independent contractor and accepting my payment directly. Ceci still has refused to provide a refund of any amount including what I tipped (which I always feel obligated to do).

I LOVE Nathalia!! She has skill and such a good vibe!! I booked one day before supper last minute but she contacted me the same day and went over my hair history and what I wanted very hands on I loved it !! She actually listed to what I wanted and also advised me with the best choices for my hair color and hair health. Her pricing was really reasonable really good price point for the quality work you get. She might be under charging if I had to be honest. The salon was beautiful you get the luxury feel of it. She really takes care of you making you feel rich boujee. The salon is beautiful the BUT THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY BAD ABOUT IT is one of the stylists had her kids there crying running around took from the whole luxury experience of coming in the salon to relax to here hear her kids I love kids but I take that time so me and that really takes from all of that. Please leave your kids at home not professional and ruins the experience for everyone. 10 out 10 recommend booking with the Columbia goddess Nathalia !!
