Visited for: dinner date A man invited me here for dinner, and I’ll be honest I hate flower walls. They usually signal “we’re prioritizing the vibe over the food.” Thankfully, that wasn’t entirely the case here. The service was truly top tier. Our server was attentive and kind, and that matters, especially because there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill (not my favorite practice, and when it’s mandatory I don’t add extra, little rebel move of mine). We ordered: BBQ wings half roasted chicken The BBQ wings were perfect definitely Carolina style barbecue, sweet with tang. I’d actually recommend calling that out on the menu because it was a nice surprise. The only downside was timing: the wings came out with our entrées instead of before. We were told the kitchen was backed up, but the restaurant didn’t seem very busy, we walked in with no reservation and were seated immediately. The half roasted chicken was solid, and the drinks were just okay, not bad, just not memorable. I ordered an Espresso Martini & a Sand & Storm or something like that. Overall, it’s a beautiful restaurant with strong service and decent food. I’d come back, more likely for happy hour than a full dinner… and probably if someone else was picking up the tab. Verdict: top tier service, pretty space, good wings, average drinks, auto gratuity added, worth a visit, especially for vibes or happy hour.
Hampton Social has a good looking menu but doesn’t deliver the food quality at this price point. Lobster roll look good but lacks the flavor from other restaurants in the area. Tina tartar was too finely minced for our liking. House made chips tasted a bit stale and didn’t go well with the tube tartare. Service was friendly.
Came for the first time on my birthday for lunch with my friends and it was AMAZING! Nikki D was our waitress and she was awesome! Very knowledgeable, super sweet, and attentive. I have the truffle Mac with the fried chicken and it was sooooo good! And we had the truffle fries, broccolini, and lobster roll as well and it all was amazing! We had the apple crumble for dessert and it was absolutely chefs kiss. You will not be disappointed
We visited this restaurant for my girlfriend’s birthday as a group, and overall we had a great time. The cocktails were delicious and everyone really enjoyed their dishes. The truffle fries we shared as a starter were absolutely phenomenal—definitely a must-try. The only downside was the service. When we first arrived, the staff didn’t seem particularly welcoming while we waited, but we brushed it off and still ordered several rounds of drinks throughout the evening. Throughout the meal, though, we encountered a few issues.. some dishes were forgotten, there were a couple of attempts to deliver the wrong orders to our table, and when all of our food finally started coming out, one person’s dish was missing entirely and the manager came over to explain that the side that accompanied the entre was actually out, which delayed their whole meal. The food itself was excellent, but the service hiccups kept the experience from being as smooth as it could have been. Nonetheless, we all enjoyed ourselves in light of everything.
We stopped by after a long stroll through downtown & were pleasantly surprised there was no wait for the 3rd floor. The host immediately provided us multiple options for us to sit. Granted we stopped around 2pm & there was ample seating. I asked for wine & our server provided samples for me. The crab brochettes are amazing. Perfect spot to relax, enjoy the scenery & have a few drinks. The service was excellent from the minute we walked in!
