My K-pop mates flew home this morning, so I was solo for the remainder of my time in Seattle. I finally made my way to Pacific Place, next to my hotel. Alas, it seems it’s another shopping center in search of tenants and customers. Is this the fate of many shopping centers on the West Coast, like San Francisco Centre on Market Street? Anyway, I found myself inside Pacific Place with nothing to do and I stumbled across The Handmade Showroom on the 3rd floor. Hey, I found bracelets made out of guitar strings from High Strung Studios in Trenton, NJ. I lost a guitar bracelet the day before, so it was serendipity … I purchased one made with bass guitar strings and secured with a magnetic clasp ($57.38). I had to buy one … I would have purchased more but they didn’t have any more in size Medium (for my 6.75-inch wrist). Hah, I ordered two more from High Strung Studios for less money than at The Handmade Showroom. So, I found at least one interesting store in this shopping complex. I remain hopeful that more vendors will open a store in this complex.
