My partner and I visited The Heights on June 9, 2024 after driving in from Michigan specifically to try it. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. After being greeted by our server, my partner ordered a drink and was asked for his ID, which he provided without issue. About 10 minutes later, a manager or bartender asked for his ID again. He handed it over again with no problem. We then waited quite a while without receiving our drinks or getting his ID back. When it was finally returned, the bartender/manager informed us, “We’ll give this back to you, but we’re not going to serve you.” I explained that Michigan had recently issued a new state ID design, but the response we received was dismissive: “Well, our computers were just updated.” The tone and lack of explanation felt unprofessional and unnecessary. On top of that, we waited about 30 minutes for our hummus appetizer and to receive our bill. At that point, we decided to leave and went to Texas Roadhouse, where we experienced much better service. Edit: We decided to give The Heights another chance and returned for a birthday dinner. Unfortunately, the service was not much better. My margherita pizza looked poorly prepared, with only a few tomatoes and no basil. Our party of eight finished our meals before any of us were able to get a single drink refill. Overall, the experience again fell short. We were really hoping to like this place, but after multiple disappointing visits, we will not be returning.

Great atmosphere. When I was there, the famous comedic actress Hanna Modene, from the hilarious Barbara Corcoran TV ad was there. This is how you know it's good. The downside is that they close on a whim for months unexpectedly, which is the first sign of a coming drain circle descent.

Came here twice nights in a row- first night for drinks at the bar- atmosphere was nice- service was slow but generally positive. Second night- decided to try some food- ordered a few things and the best item was the side of fries. The service was exceptionally slow (we almost left as it took over 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us once we were seated- and it wasn’t super busy), pizza was burnt and flavorless, and the chicken wings were rubbery and the flavor was meh.

Online it said they were open. Nobody was answering the phone when we tried to get reservations. I’ve gone here before and know they keep tables open for walk ins. After we get there parking far away and walking in the cold so we wouldn’t pay $32 for parking. We got in the elevator and it wouldn’t work. Went to the front desk and they told us they were closed Sundays it’s a new business practice. No eye contact just watching the computer. Extremely dissapointed that it was nowhere.

Very $$, Very limited menu with nothing extraordinary on it, Very $$ drinks. Service is fine. Food is ok.. Friends of mine agreed about the short menu and $$ food. Cannot recommend.
