The food is fast and delicious, and the prices are really good for homemade pasta. The sauces were tasty. I did not love the oven baked tomato salad, it was just okay, but the pasta for that price and quality is definitely worth it. There is limited seating inside, but outside there are plenty of shared tables.

Cozy restaurant. Can see the stove and the cooks making the pasta as it is made. Happy hour for house wine and beer is good. Was a little pricier than I thought it was gonna be (pay for pasta and sauce separately, closer to ~$20).

We came here in the late afternoon and were surprised to find that both the carbonara and the gnocchi were already sold out — two of the dishes we were most looking forward to. It felt a bit odd that some of the most popular items weren’t available so early in the day. Maybe the kitchen wasn’t fully prepped yet, but it was still disappointing. The restaurant has “Homemade” in its name, so naturally you expect something truly special — fresh, well-crafted pasta and a homemade feel. But the experience didn’t quite live up to that expectation. It felt more like a small chain (there is at least one more location), and while the food wasn’t bad, it didn’t match what you’d imagine from a place emphasizing “homemade” in the branding. We ordered the lasagna and the penne with pesto. The penne portion was very small — surprisingly small — and absolutely not justified for the price. The lasagna, on the other hand, was a very generous portion and tasted good. The pesto pasta was also tasty, but nothing exceptional. I ordered a Spritz, but it wasn’t an Aperol Spritz. It tasted good, but it seemed like it was made with lemonade or something similar, so it wasn’t quite what you would expect. The staff seemed very busy and focused on getting things prepared, probably because it was still early in the shift. They weren’t unfriendly, just quite occupied and not very attentive. Overall, a mixed experience: the food was okay, but the limited menu availability, uneven portions, and the gap between the “homemade” promise and the actual quality make it hard to rate higher.

If you’re looking for fresh pasta and authentic Italian cuisine, this spot in San Francisco is simply exceptional. On my first visit to the city, I had the chance to try it, and I was truly impressed. The quality of the dishes is outstanding: balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and pasta with a texture that transports you straight to Italy. I ordered the ravioli with tomato sauce, which were absolutely spectacular so good that I didn’t even manage to take a photo. The pesto pasta and the Bolognese are also remarkable for their authentic flavor and impeccable preparation. Portions are just right for one person and leave you fully satisfied. The restaurant is often crowded a great sign of its popularity and they make the pasta in house, which you can watch while you wait for your order. Finding parking around North Beach (Little Italy) may take a bit of patience, but it’s completely worth it. In summary, a delicious and authentic culinary experience. If you visit San Francisco, I highly recommend stopping by and trying their pasta. Especially the ravioli! 🍝

Got vegetarian ravioli with pesto sauce and vegetarian lasagna. Both were super delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were nice. You order inside and clean your own table. The ravioli was a bit inconsistent in doneness and had less sauce than the non-vegetarian options. The portions were okay. The day we went, a parade was happening, which made it nice and lively.
