I cannot say enough good things about The Language House. The quality of instruction is the absolute gold standard; the community is incredible; and the curriculum is brilliantly thought out. I've not just improved my speaking skills; I've learned so much about HOW to learn as well. Virginia has been my instructor across the three classes I've taken, and she has absolutely mastered how to remove impediments for learning for new, less-confident, monolingual and multilingual learners. I'm an educator myself and have been taking notes on how she allows our questions to run their course, answering each one with skill and humour while staying the course. We cover so much ground in each class, and each class absolutely kicks my butt, but the environment Virginia has created makes it delightful to work this hard. And just when you're exhausted from all the new grammatical skills you've learned, you get to go into an bridge class to practice fluency. It's just so well-thought out. Y'all, RUN -- don't walk -- to this magical place. You won't regret joining this community.
