I am pleased to have found Ken and The Memory Mender to refurbish and restore my 100+-year-old Chinese "cedar" chest. I learned from Ken that it is actually made from camphor wood, among the numerous things I learned from him about the chest. This is an old-fashioned business giving new life to old things. Ken's attention to detail and his consideration for what I wanted the resulting work to look like are exemplary, and Liz's coordination of the various logistical details was most helpful. All that AND the cost was modest.

Liz and Sarah are a great mother daughter team! They were able to communicate thoroughly through text, phone and email with quotes and scheduling.
