Our son has been having guitar lessons with Laura at The Music Academy for more than two years, starting at beginner level. Laura was able to teach him to read music and play the guitar over a combination of in-person and online lessons. She gave clear instructions and was able to keep him interested and motivated, through keeping the lessons engaging, varied and involving him in song selection.

Laura is an amazing teacher! She has provided me with singing lessons, and she has been a very supportive and encouraging teacher, with a clear and in-depth knowledge on music theory and performance. She is very positive and easy to communicate with, and I would recommend her to anyone looking to get started with performance.

Laura is a genuine down to earth person and a very good music teacher my daughters both enjoy going there every week she is definitely worth it. She has taught my kids a lot and she makes it all very fun hope to continue learning with her for many more years.

Incredibly awesome flute teacher, Laura has brought my son from the brink of quitting flute, to adoring it. She's extremely knowledgeable, and also fun, engaging, and genuinely lovely. We've been with her 18 months now, and plan to continue.

Laura has been teaching my son piano and vocals for almost 6 months now. She is a very talented musician with great teaching and mentoring skills.
