I have been taking guitar lessons with Sean for just over a year and it has been an awesome experience. Sean's energy and passion for music are infectious. He adapts his teaching style to each individual student's ability and their specific interests. I've already become a much better guitar player and I know that this time next year I'll be even better as I continue to take lessons with him. Sean is also just a great guy and I'm excited to see how much the Music Salon has grown in the past year. Highly recommend.

I have been taking guitar lessons with Sean for about three months now and in that time it has completely transformed how I play and approach guitar. I have played off and on all my life and started taking practicing guitar seriously about 4 years ago but got very stuck with how intimidating theory and improvisation can be. Sean helps me slow down, find positions and helps me connect the dots on finding melodies. His lessons and tips have helped me tremendously when doing my technique practice, song practice, and most notably, improvisation practice. My goal with Sean is to become a completely well rounded guitar player that can jam with anyone and we are definitely on that path to get me there. Sean is also a very professional and friendly business owner and it's great seeing The Music Salon grow!

I started taking lessons with Sean at the beginning of the year, and I love it. Sean is a fantastic teacher who does a great job of explaining things to a relative beginner like me. Moreover, I'm blind, so it sometimes takes a bit of extra creativity and ingenuity to teach things in a non-visual way. Sean has always done an awesome job on this front. We cover a lot in our hour-long lessons, and I love how he makes sure we recap everything at the end so nothing gets lost. I love how most of our lessons are built around different songs, which is cool because I learn some awesome riffs and pick up some really helpful techniques from each song that I can use in the future. I feel like I've come a long way since I started, and I look forward to our continued progress. I'd also recommend Sean and the Music Salon to anyone who wants to learn an instrument. No matter what level you're at or how old you are, it's never too late to start!

The Music Studio more than exceeded my expectations for guitar lessons for my son. As a parent, I wanted to be sure that my son would be safe and relaxed in order to be receptive to instruction. I have been very pleased with Sean and the instruction he gives. He took the time to consider my son's preferences and abilities and capitalized on his strengths and patiently works through the more difficult challenges. My son is progressing very well, enjoys his lessons, and seems to connect with the lesson materials, since I never have to nag my son to practice. I may even be a little jealous, because I also play guitar, but never had the benefit of lessons. We are all really looking forward to the launch of the new facility which surely will bring a whole new dimension to the learning opportunities available through The Music Salon. This is going to be awesome! Easy 5 stars

Two of my boys took bass and guitar lessons from Sean for about two years. I cannot recommend him enough! Not only did they develop a life long love for playing, but due to Sean’s teachings and guidance, the boys were able to join a band and play on some major stages around the city beginning at the ages of just 13 and 14.
