Great friendly shop. Went in a few weeks ago to buy a new guitar. Norm and crew were super helpful and patient. Listened to what I was after and recommended a few guitars to try. Never felt pressured to buy or upsold. Ended up with a really great Eastman guitar that has leveled up my playing. Went back today to have the action lowered a bit, and they took care of it without drama or charge while I waited. This was my first purchase at Nicholson, but certainly won't be my last. Recommend!

Store is MUCH bigger than it seems. Came in for the music books, and they have a whole separate room of carefully organized books for all kinds of instruments and learning techniques. Will definitely be coming back

Friendly, helpful, and informative. Tok my acoustic guitar in to get an estimate for a full setup. On the spot the Luther made the needed adjustment and shared some decent information and that was it. Thank you

I have been to Nicholson Music store many times for years, mostly to buy music books. The front desk guys are always welcoming and patient and have a great sense of humor. This time my daughter's flute broke on the day before her concert. Her teacher said to take it to Nicholson for a quick fix. We arrived at the store forty minutes before their store closure. Their flute technician was out. After learning about our urgency, the front desk guy said he didn't repair flutes, but he could see what parts went broken and would try to tighten some screws. He spent some time working on the flute and asked my daughter to try again. It worked! Although the flute still needs some serious repair, my daughter was able to make it through her concert the next day, thanks to the front desk guy's quick fix! He did this completely for free despite the time and efforts he spent on it. I would give them six stars if I could.

Great local store, knowledgeable associates, great products, on site technicians, rentals, instructors. Been in business for decades and still has the feel of a mom and pop instead of the big box emptiness.
