Truly excellent yoga studio - spacious, welcoming, good vibes, and a nice mix of teaching/class styles for both beginners and experienced yogis. Jacqui is a genuinely phenomenal teacher - can't recommend highly enough, I've practised in many studios over the years and this is one of the best!
The Open Mind Space is a really special studio! Jacqui is one of the best yoga teachers I’ve had in 10yrs of practicing. She shares her incredible knowledge of yoga philosophy/ wisdom (which I love) and her fun energy to each class. The classes are always interesting, insightful and energising. Ensuring to provide a safe space for anyone and everyone no matter your experience on the mat or energy levels on the day. There is also regular opportunities to join workshops on different topics that I have also attended and were beautiful. Lastly, shout out to Alanna and Tyreece too who are amazing teachers. I come to as many classes as I can here, I love it so much, it brought me back to myself and where I love to be. I would be happy to come to every class on the timetable if I could. Coming from the land where yoga originated, I cannot stress on how amazing the OM space is. I've felt so welcome and safe since the first class I attended. The instructors are a wealth of knowledge and bring their own unique personality to each session keeping it fun and interesting. Recently, I attended one of their retreat (Ignite). Jimmy and Jacqui did such a fabulous job as hosts. It was such a great learning and experience as I truly felt refreshed after. I absolutely love the OM space and look forward to every class.
Such an amazing studio and vibe, Jacqui is hands down one of the best teachers in Newcastle and her retreats are amazing! Had the best time on the Ignite retreat, made so many new friends and felt a lot more zen at the end. Thanks so much for being a custodian of this amazing space and community
