We were here on vacation and I found this place on Google Maps. This place is amazing! The all meat pizza was amazing and the best we have had in a long time! We ordered another to take back to the room! I highly recommend getting a great pizza here!!!!

Awesome small spot, ordered a small buffalo chicken pizza, was not on menu but staff quickly said they could make it no problem! Perfect amount of chicken, blue cheese crumbles, wing sauce, and cheese. People around me got calzones-will try that next, looked delicious. Will return. About 20 bucks for small pizza and Coke Zero.

We were here for the Sugar Bowl and really wanted some pizza. We searched for pizza places around the superdome and the Italian pie came up on the search. The pizza was delicious and the service was great. Tables are a little rickety and sticky but overall a great experience.

We stopped in for lunch at The Original Italian Pie, and overall it was a good experience. The pizza itself was very good—flavorful, fresh, and definitely the highlight of the visit. The atmosphere inside was quaint and had that New Orleans charm, though the tables were a bit on the sticky side, likely thanks to the humidity. The service was okay; the girl behind the counter wasn’t especially helpful but got the job done. All in all, it made for a good lunch spot, even if it didn’t quite rise to the level of superb. The food makes it worth a stop, especially if you’re craving a solid pizza in the city.

I was in New Orleans late one Sunday before heading offshore and was hungry before I called it a night. Checked my food availability and the Italian pie was open late so decided to stop by and see. Place is small but nice. Kinda had that old school atmosphere to it. Checked the menu and tried the lemon pepper wings. Very good size and seasoning was on point. Not greasy either. Since it was late I would have to come back and try a pizza. Menu had good options. I will be back and definitely recommend.
